Mbuso de Mbazo X Dantzix

October 19 at Altar marks Mbuso De Mbazo’s international Debut. Hailing from South Africa's Eastern Cape, he’s a pioneer of boarding school amapiano with over a million Spotify streams this year + currently number one on the soulful piano charts. He’s known for his unique blend of modern South African House music.

He’s joined by Dantzix - UK born Caribbean DJ, producer and afrofuturism artist. 

Dantzix blends African mysticism, Jamaican reggae and central American sharmanic practices with electronic music. Veteran DJ, he began creating the music he felt was missing from dancefloors, the stuff that’ll keep you up all night sweating—out of your brain—in the present—in your body.

They’ll be performing parts of their new collaborative album and joined by Djucker, aboriginal viking, playing the didgeridoo, and local DJs Marina and Campstelli.

Echoes of Africa is a call to return to and learn from the wisdom of old.
